GRADING SCALE

We deal in new and reconditioned OEM wheels, and we also offer various grades of used wheels. Note: Not all grades apply to steel and clad wheels.

A+ / NEW

Brand new. Never mounted.

Recon / RECONDITIONED

Looks new.

A / LIKE NEW

Face looks new but had been mounted with a tire.

A- / VERY GOOD

Looks new from 10' (ten feet) Minor scratch on lip at worst. Typical new take-off.

B+ / VERY GOOD

Looks new from 10' (ten feet) A few very minor scratches on the on center area and or lip.

B / GOOD

Few light scratches seen at 10' (ten feet). Good at first glance. Good uniform finish.

B- / GOOD BUT

Minor curb rash. Otherwise "B" grade. OK for reconditioning with no metal work.

C / POOR

Many scratches and or curb rash and or pits. OK for reconditioning with no metal work, but may not rr-chrome well.

D+ / DINGED

Indented metal up to 0.5". Otherwise B grade. Serviceable. No bead damage. Metal work required before remanufacturing.

D / DINGED

Metal indentation over 0.5". Serviceable C grade with poor finish. No bead damage. Requires metal repair before remanufacturing.

N / RAW OR STRIPPED

No paint on wheel. OK for reconditioning with no metal work.

P / PAINT NO MATCH

Paint is no match at all to OEM finish. Could even be a different color.
